Hampshire is rich in wildlife. This variety of life, or biodiversity, needs conserving and we all have a part to play. The Hampshire Biodiversity Partnership plays a central role by deciding which habitats and species are most at risk in the county, and what needs to be done to help ensure that they survive. The Partnership has produced the Biodiversity Action Plan for Hampshire in response to a growing concern for biodiversity in the UK and throughout the world. The Plan sets out a programme of action for protecting and enriching nature in Hampshire. This website describes the Partnership's achievements, and outlines some of the ways that everyone can help to secure the future of Hampshire's natural environment.
