Nature Navigator provides a web-based guide to Britian's wildlife and has a large links page including various local and specialist wildlife groups and organisations.

The Natural History Museum is the UK's national museum of nature, and a centre of scientific excellence in taxonomy and biodiversity. This website includes lots of information about our wildlife, events, news items and links to other sites. The site has a specific page on biodiversity.

The UK Clearing House Mechanism for Biodiversity (CHM) was established by the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity. It provides rapid access to relevant information. Links to UK Biodiversity-related Legislation are listed in this website. This includes UK and European legislation, which aims to protect and conserve wildlife, their habitats and geology. Much of the legislation is found in the form of Acts, Directives, Orders and Regulations.

UK Harbours Directory for the Solent and the South coast provides links to Harbour Authorities, many of whom are involved in local coastal and marine biodiversity projects within their areas of jurisdiction.
