Wonderful wetland at Winchester school
BTCV has been helping St Faiths School for fifteen years. A wonderful wetland habitat full of rare species, including water voles, has been created. Recently Landfill Tax money has been used for habitat enhancement and educational work.

Brook Meadow Conservation Group
In Havant, Brook Meadow Conservation Group have achieved a huge amount with support, advice, training and funding from BTCV. This includes improving access to the meadow, installing notice boards, surveying wildlife and habitat management. The meadow is an important wildlife site and the Hampshire Wildlife Trust is helping the Group monitor priority species.

Hampshire Pond Warden Scheme
This scheme helps to give volunteers training in pond creation and management. 50 pond wardens have been trained by BTCV and they form a network of advisors throughout Hampshire.
