Hampshire Wildlife Trust
- The Wildlife Trust is involved in a variety of recording projects for Hampshire priority species, including great crested newt, dormouse, southern damselfly, water vole, otter, Gilkicker weevil, bats and butterflies found on ‘brownfield’ sites.
- The Wildlife Trust uses MapMate as its main species database. MapMate allows easy data exchange with other users, of which there are approximately 100 in Hampshire. Trust now has access to 14,326 records of 382 species of priority concern in Hampshire.
- The Trust has produced or is assisting with a number of local biodiversity action plans for particular areas of Hampshire: the Loddon Catchment, Test Valley Borough, and Hook Parish.
