Local Authority Biodiversity Forum

• Inaugural meeting of the Forum was held in April 2003 with representatives from 13 of the 15 local authorities in Hampshire
  
  
• The Forum has identified 10 priority issues to progress from the hundreds of actions assigned to local authorities in the Biodiversity Action Plan for Hampshire
  
  
• The Forum it is currently focusing on planning issues (development control and forward planning) and is working towards producing model ‘supplementary planning guidance’
